We
have decided to include this page of basic Instructions
for setting up and packing away a small Bouncy castle
due to many requests from customers
SETTING
UP
1/ First locate the smoothest
most level place in the customers garden
or the area where it is to be erected. Bouncy Castles can be
erected on bumpy ground but obviously the flatter the ground the
better.
If it is going on a rough, dry ,abrasive piece of land
or concrete a groundsheet must be placed under the unit.
The same goes for oily or dirty land.

2/ To prevent any possible
damage to your Bouncy Castle, always walk
over the area first to check and remove any large stones, sticks
or
other items you may find.
3/ Unroll
and unfold, position as required, spread out each side as
much as they will.

4/ Connect the blower to
the long tube ( inlet tube) at the back of the
Bouncy castle and secure in place with elastic strap or rope.

5/ Close/tie
any deflation tubes, which will be the smaller tube at the
back of the Bouncy Castle with rope or elastic strap.

6/ Fully unroll extension
cable (to prevent the cable from overheating)
Cover the extension cable housing with a bin bag liner or similar
to prevent rainwater
or inquisitive fingers getting in. Try to ensure that the extension
cable is fed
through a window, sliding door or cat flap as a normal door will
damage
the cable if it closes on it.
7/ Plug blower cable
into extension socket.
Switch on blower and allow Bouncy castle to inflate. It takes
approx 2 mins to inflate. Please ensure there are no Children
on the castle whilst it inflates.
The blower MUST remain running continuously whilst the castle
is in use.
8/
Keep Children away from the blower.
9/ If used outdoors the
unit must be anchored using the anchor points
located aroundthe base. Stake castle down by inserting anchor
stakes
through anchor ropes placed through the anchor point loops on
Bouncy Castle sides. Please ensure the stakes are well into the
ground
so as not to create a hazard to Children.

10/
If used
on a hard surface or indoors safety mats should be placed
in front of the unit.
11/
If you are using a Petrol driven motor, you must regulate the
motor to
make your castle adequately bouncy without over revving.
12/
Electrical cables should be laid along the edge of the garden,
out of Children's way. They should also be fully protected
from damage of water
13/
We recommend use of a circuit breaker.
PACKING
AWAY
1/ Make
sure the Bouncy Castle is completely empty of all Children
and any debris.
2/ Switch off the electrical supply and disconnect the
blower, undo
all deflation tubes.
3/ Allow the Bouncy Castle to completely deflate around
10 minutes.
4/ Straighten the base.
Fold walls in neatly towards centre.
5/ Fold into thirds longwise
and then in half again.
6/ Roll the unit slowly
and as tightly as possible towards the outlet tube,
forcing the air out.
7/ Secure and store safely.
8/ If the Bouncy Castle
is wet when packed away, please ensure that as soon
as possible it is erected and allowed to dry properly, on no account
must
it be stored wet for any length of time.
We also strongly recommend that you should carefully check your
Bouncy Castle both before and after use for any signs of damage,
cuts,
holes or signs of excessive wear which could harm users or interfere
with the proper operation of the inflatable.
If necessary please contact Bounce-A-Lot
for repairs,
maintenance or advice.
If you intend to Hire your Bouncy Castle to the Public we strongly
recommend you take out adequate Public Liability Insurance,
(Bounce-A-Lot recommends Leisure Insure 01993 700761)
We also recommend you issue your
customers with a Hire Agreement, which
includes a Safety Instruction Sheet to be handed out to customers
when
Inflatable Play Equipment is delivered.
