We sell this KIT from only £150 so as you can see, its not at all expensive, but we
find it is very useful to our customers as it saves them going to several shops
and stores looking for these items themselves.

Startup can be as big or small as you want,one
bouncy castle, a sack truck, an Ad in the local
paper, and public liability Insurance and a diary
is enough to get you going, although you'll soon want
to invest in more Inflatables as your bookings
come rolling in!

The best market to target on start up is children's
birthday parties, and can do so with one or two small
bouncy castles. 10'x 10' and 12'x 12' are the most
popular sizes as they fit into most gardens and are
easy to handle. Larger bouncers 15' x 15' upwards
are ideal for larger gardens, schools,fetes, etc.

You will need to have public liability Insurance,which
safeguards you if anyone has an accident as a result
of using your equipment, for companies that

We recommend that you do not charge a fee for
any cancellations of your bookings, you will find that
this very very rarely happens and usually either
because of illness or very bad weather. By not charging
in this way, your customer will usually rebook for
another day so as not to disappoint the children.
You will also get bookings from possible hesitant
customers when they realize they can cancel or
change their mind with no loss to themselves.

Have leaflets printed , advertising your Hire Company
(these need not be professionally created, and can be
done very easily on any home computer ) Which can be distributed at fetes ,
schools, scout huts, nurseries and playgroups in your area, as well as left at
each customers house to put in the party/goody bag each child who attends
the party normally receives.

Another Really good idea instead of just handing out leaflets or sending them in the
post to the schools and playgroups in your area, is to actually write a letter
accompanying your leaflet explaining who you are and introducing your company,
explaining the type of inflatables you have to offer together with the prices.
Also let them know you live locally and would like to attend their organized events
in a way which could support their school.
Schools like everyone else get lots of junk mail daily, so they are more likely to
actually look at and read a personal letter, rather than just another advertising
leaflet with may end up in the bin.

It is a good idea to offer to bring your inflatables along to a school summer
fete for instance free of charge and to stand and supervise them yourself, charging
the children per go and donating around 20% of the profit to the school funds.
Most schools are very happy to accept this method as they are always trying to raise
as much money at these events as they can, so the least they have to pay out the better.
As most schools cater for several hundred children , many of whom will attend the fete
it is a more profitable way of operating than merely collecting a standard hire fee.
You can also hand out leaflets or business cards to people there letting them know it
is available to hire for their own children's birthday party etc. As well as all this they
will be able to see your telephone number clearly on the front of the castle!
