Safe Operation Instructions for
Small Bouncy Castles

OPERATION

1/ The Bouncy Castle must be supervised by a
responsible adult at all times who will
ensure that Children on the Inflatable :

Have removed their shoes

Are not over 14 years of age
(or over the age insured)
and are of similar size, e.g. Older Children
should not be mixed with toddlers, and Children
should not be overcrowded.

Are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a
manner likely to injure or cause distress to themselves
or others.

No face paints, party poppers, coloured party
streamers or silly string to be used on or near
the inflatable

Are not eating, drinking or chewing.

Have removed glasses and jewellery

Have no toys or sharp instruments.

Are not climbing or sitting on the walls

Are not attempting somersaults.

Are clothed appropriately and that nothing can
fall out of their pockets.

 

2/ Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around
the unit is completely clear

 

3/ The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes
wet on the jumping area.

 

4./ If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the
unit should not be used, but quickly deflated and
folded to prevent water collecting in it.
